Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Services — as a venue operator, a customer booking a venue, or otherwise — you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

VenueSetu provides a booking-management platform for sports venues: a single inventory of venue availability made bookable across multiple channels (the web, WhatsApp, and partner integrations), tools for venue operators to manage bookings, and a directory that helps customers discover and book venues.

• VenueSetu operates the booking platform that connects venue operators and customers, and provides the underlying infrastructure — it does not itself own or run the venues listed.
• Venue operators are responsible for the accuracy of their own listings, availability, pricing, and the venue experience they provide.
• Customers are responsible for the accuracy of the booking details they provide and for complying with the applicable venue's own rules.
• External partners — such as our payment and messaging providers, or technology partners integrating through the VenueSetu Partner API — provide services under their own terms in addition to these.

Where the Services require an account or access credentials (for example, a venue operator's management access), you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of those credentials and for activity that occurs under them. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

A booking request may first be placed on hold for a limited time while payment or confirmation is completed; a hold is not a confirmed booking. A booking is confirmed once payment (where required) is successfully processed and the venue operator has accepted it. Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund eligibility depend on the specific venue's own policy and the timing of your request relative to the booking — VenueSetu does not set a single fixed cancellation window or refund amount that applies to every venue. Check the relevant venue's stated policy, or contact us if one is unclear.

Payments for bookings are processed through Razorpay or another third-party payment provider we may use. Use of a payment provider is subject to that provider's own terms. VenueSetu is not a bank or payment institution and does not store your full payment card or bank account details.

Individual venues may have their own house rules, cancellation policies, and conditions of use, in addition to these Terms. Where a venue's own policy is communicated to you (for example, at the time of booking), it applies alongside these Terms for that booking.

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Services or related systems.
• Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading booking, payment, or identity information.
• Use the Services to harass, abuse, or harm venue operators, customers, or VenueSetu staff.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or misuse the Services or the Partner API outside its documented terms.

The VenueSetu name, logo, website, and platform (excluding content belonging to venue operators or third parties) are the property of VenueSetu and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute this material without our permission, except as necessary to make ordinary use of the Services.

The Services may link to or integrate with third-party services, including our payment provider, our messaging provider, and technology partners built on our Partner API. We are not responsible for the content, terms, or practices of those third parties.

We aim to keep the Services available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, VenueSetu is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services, or for the acts or omissions of venue operators or third-party providers, which are outside our direct control.

Venue operators may maintain their own additional terms and cancellation policies that apply to bookings at their venue. VenueSetu is not a party to, and is not responsible for enforcing, those venue-specific terms beyond facilitating the booking itself.

We may update the Services or these Terms from time to time. We will update the effective date above when we do. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

As noted above, the entity that will operate VenueSetu and its registered office have not yet been finalized, so we are not yet in a position to designate a governing law or an exclusive court jurisdiction for disputes under these Terms. We will add that information here once it is confirmed. Until then, if a dispute or disagreement arises, please contact us directly and we will work with you in good faith to resolve it.
